In Toad, I run a query then click the Send to Report button on the lower right corner of the screen. This seems to send results to a spreadsheet. I have OpenOffice Calc on my machine and no Excel.
After clicking Send to Report, a Spreadsheet ExcelFile_....xls tab opens up in Toad with the message Navigation to the webpage was canceled and an OpenOffice spreadsheet opens up in a new window with my results loaded.
What is the page it is trying to navigate to? In general I have my data reported, but what is the error referring to?
Toad is only tested to work with Excel. There has not been specific testing for OpenOffice Calc or other spreadsheet applications.
This should not occur when using Microsoft Excel.
This is not anerror concerning the reporting of data. There should not be any problems using Toad or the results even with the navigation error.
If Toad cannot load results into an Excel sheet and open in Toad, it will open in the default spreadsheet application, in a new window outside of Toad. The tab in Toad will try to point to a webpage for more information, but there is none.
