Using Toad Data Point 3.2 and running a query to produce about 125,000 rows of data would take about 10 seconds to export using the "Export to Excel Instance" option.
Upgraded to Toad Data Point 3.4 and running the same query for the same dataset of information now takes 3 minutes to Export to Excel Instance.
WORKAROUND:
Use Toad Data Point 3.2 for exporting needs.
STATUS:
Waiting for a fix in a future release of Toad Data Point.
