After installing v5.0, the error 'ORA 24450: Cannot pre process OCI statement' appears when running a statement with empty comment lines.
This error happens if an empty comment line is added at the end of the statement, such as:
SELECT ALBUM_NAME, BANDS.BAND_ID, BANDNAME
--
FROM BANDS INNER JOIN ALBUMS
--
ON (BANDS.BAND_ID = ALBUMS.BAND_ID)
--
if you remove the ' -- ' at the end of the statement, it works, however this statement runs ok in v4.3 and also in Toad for Oracle.
