SQL with multiple parameters to extract data from iSeries db does not work. With one parameter, it works fine. (4301927)

Trying to create a SQL with multiple parameters to extract data from iSeries database.  The SQL will work with 1 parameter but not 2.  One parameter can be used and hard code the second select and it will work.  No errors are received; it just does not produce any data.

It has something to do with Toad Data Point and the iSeries.

This SQL produces data:

SELECT * from plieclib.iepipmst where eqplnt = :plant and eqtag = 'FT-925'

This SQL does not produce data (fill in both parameters):

SELECT * from plieclib.iepipmst where eqplnt = :plant and eqtag = :tag
