When trying to install Toad Data Modeler, the following error is given:
"Fatal Error
Installation ended prematurely because of an error."
RESOLUTION 1:
Install Toad Data Modeler via Silent Install per the Toad for Data Modeler 3 Installation Guide instructions on page 11. Download attachment.
RESOLUTION 2:
The vbscript.dll is not registered. Once you register it as admin, the installation proceeds normally.
1. Navigate to Start | Programs | Accessories
2. Right-click on "Command Prompt" and select "Run as administrator"
3. CD, if necessary, to C:\Windows\System32
4. Run the command: regsvr32 vbscript.dll
After registering the vbscript.dll, try to run the installer.
