Unable to open TXL file when double-clicking on it from Windows Explorer -
Description
When double-clicking on a TXL file from Windows Explorer, Toad Data Modeler (TDM) opens but the logical model fails with the following error in the message explorer:
1) Command line parameters loaded.
Command line: " Open-File:Name="C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Toad Data Modeler 4.0\Samples\Sample.txl""2) Error when loading input parameters.
""\" character in command is not permitted." -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
Open TDM and open the file from File | Open menu.

Issue fixed in version 4.1.5. The latest version of Toad Data Modeler can be downloaded at SupportLink
