When reverse engineer a database. Some users are granted explicitly permissions to objects are having associated schemas materialized. However, the "user" and associated permissions are not being materialized. The database in SSMS show User and their permission but in the Toad after reverse engineering, the User does not have anything. When viewed in SSMS the permissions and associated users group do exist.
Please try the steps below to replace a package file:
1. Exit Toad for Data Modeler and copy the attached package file (OREDBMS08.txt) to your system packages folder in TDM Program Files folder, usually in the directory C:\program file\quest software\toad for data modeler\package\system.
2. Rename the file extension from OREDBMS08.txt to OREDBMS08.txg to overwrite the original package.
3. Then start Toad for Data Modeler again to test the issue.
Please keep this package if you upgrade to version 4.1 too. This package did not make it in the 4.1 release because there was a code freeze date already. So you can also use this package for both version 4.0 and 4.1.
