Sync & Compare Wizard does not allow cross database model merges (4242081)

In the Sync & Compare Wizard (introduced in version 3.4), it is now no longer possible to compare and merge models of different database types.

This is a limitation of the new Sync & Compare Wizard.

If you need to compare two models, each of a different database platform, you have to do a model conversion first (so the models are both the same database type), and then you can compare the models, now of the same database platform.

Enhancement request CR 65898 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of Toad Data Modeler.
