System requirements

Before installing Stat® 6.1.0, ensure that your system meets the following minimum hardware and software requirements.

Stat Environment


Oracle® 11g and 12c (Unicode and non-Unicode support for all Oracle DBMS)

NOTE: PeopleSoft® 8.54 and higher requires Oracle 64-bit client.

Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016 (Unicode and non-Unicode: ISO Character Set with Unicode collation. Database defined with BINARY collation)

Minimum disk space

Development database: 4 GB available disk

Production database: 20 GB available disk (size can grow dramatically)

Database Connectivity

To create a successful connection, the architecture (bitness) or the database client/driver must match the architecture (bitness) of the Stat Client. For example, the 64-bit Stat Client requires an applicable 64-bit database client/driver, and the 32-bit Stat Client requires an applicable 32-bit database client/driver.

Supports all applications that are certified by PeopleSoft® to run on the following PeopleTools versions: v8.4-v8.56.

PeopleSoft Applications

Supports all PeopleSoft applications built on PeopleTools.

PeopleSoft Databases

Supports the following database platforms in conjunction with PeopleTools supported platforms:

Oracle® (10g, 11g, and 12c)
SQL Server® (2008, 2012, 2014, and 2016)
IBM® DB2® UDB (7.1, 8.1, 9.1, 9.5, 9.7 on IBM® AIX®, OS/390, z/OS; 10 on z/OS)
