Services - Service Not Running Alarm

The Services - Service Not Running alarm is raised when a Windows service that is configured to start automatically is not running.

When the alarm is raised

You may decide to start the service.

Members of the Spotlight diagnostic administrators group can start the service from withing Spotlight. From the Windows Server | Processes Drilldown | Services page. Select the service that is not running and click Start. See also Spotlight diagnostic user groups.


This alarm can be configured for your environment. For more information, see Configure | Alarms.
