The Registered component tracks the current number of database agents, both working and idle, within the database. A database agent performs work on behalf of a single application process. If an agent is not currently working, it resides in the agent pool and is considered idle, awaiting an assignment.

At each refresh, Spotlight captures the number of database agents currently residing in the database. This number includes both agents that are currently working for an application and those in the agent pool.
Click the Registered component to open the Databases drilldown. At the database level, the drilldown shows details about the DB2 database (or partition within that database) that you are currently monitoring. At the instance level, this drilldown provides details about all the active databases in the DB2 instance and helps you pinpoint problem activity.
