The Alarm Log Options window contains an Options bar on the left, and a page of options on the right whose contents depend on the category currently chosen in the Options bar.
The Filter rules page contains the following options:

Show alarm entries when the following conditions are met |
To add a new filter rule, click New... to choose the conditions to apply to the rule. To edit an existing filter rule, first click on the filter rule to highlight it. Then click Modify... to edit the conditions applied to the rule. To apply an existing filter rule to the alarm log, select the check box associated with the filter rule. To apply multiple filter rules to the alarm log, select all the required filter rules. |
Rule description |
When a filter rule is highlighted at the top of the page, its description is shown in the Rule description field. The described rule can be edited only in the Alarm Log filter window. |
New |
Click to add a new filter rule. |
Modify |
Click to modify the highlighted filter rule. |
Delete |
Click to delete the highlighted filter rule. |
Rename |
Click to rename the highlighted filter rule. |
Move down |
Filter rules are applied in the order in which they occur in the list. Click Move Down to move the highlighted filter rule lower down in the list, and so be applied later. |
Move up |
Click Move Up to move the highlighted filter rule higher up in the list, and so be applied earlier. |
Note: When you change one or more options in the Alarm Log Options window, click OK to save your changes.
