About metrics

About metrics in Spotlight® on SAP ASE

A metric is a definition for a specific performance statistic or detail that is used on the home page or drilldown. Spotlight on IBM® DB2® LUW (Linux, Unix, and Windows) uses each metric to obtain the raw performance data from the DB2 snapshot monitor, system catalogs, or configuration files. Based on the metric definition, this raw data appears as a meaningful statistic or detail on the home page or drilldown.
