Remote Connections

The number of current connections from remote clients to databases in the database manager instance. The number is a measure of concurrent processing and changes often. By frequently checking this and other metrics for local and remote connections, you can determine typical levels of concurrent processing in the database manager.

Tip: To see which remote applications are currently performing units of work, check the Remote Conns in Execution column.
