Phys Write Avg (msec)

The average amount of time spent physically writing data and index pages from a buffer pool to disk. The time is shown in milliseconds. A high average physical write time could be a symptom of an I/O wait. To see elapsed physical write time, check Pool Read Time (msec) in the Buffer Pool Details tab.
