The Agents Pending Locks component keeps track of the number of registered database agents waiting for locks within the DB2 instance. The database manager grants a lock to an agent for a specific row or table to prevent the agents assigned to other applications from accessing this same data. Lock waits occur when database agents require locks that are currently held by other applications.
A registered database agent is any agent—both working and idle—currently residing in the instance.

Click the Agents Pending Locks component to open the Client Applications drilldown. This drilldown provides details about applications currently connected to the databases and partitions in the DB2 instance and helps you pinpoint problem activity.
