Default Setting

The default moving average for Spotlight. The number specified in the moving average definition determines the number of recent refresh values returned for a metric that Spotlight averages to produce a final statistic value for the current refresh.

For example, if you select to average over 4 samples to define the moving average, at each refresh Spotlight averages the currently returned value and the last 3 returned values to determine the statistic to display or plot for a home page component.
