Data Pages In

The number of data pages belonging to the tablespace that were copied from buffer pools into extended storage. This copying is required to make space for new pages in the buffer pool. Each of these writes has a cost associated with it.

Note: Pages written to extended storage might never be required or might be forced out of extended storage before they are needed back into the buffer pool.
