This field shows the largest size reached by shared workspaces, measured in bytes, since the database was activated.
In the event of a shared workspace overflow, the value in this field shows the largest size reached by that shared workspace during the overflow. Check Shrd Wrkspc Overflows to see if in fact there was an overflow. If there was an overflow, increasing APPL_CTL_HEAP_SZ greatly reduces the chance of this condition reoccurring.
