The Agents Registered component tracks the current number of database agents, both working and idle, within the instance. A database agent performs work on behalf of a single application process. If an agent is not currently working, it resides in the agent pool and is considered idle, awaiting an assignment.
At each refresh, Spotlight captures the number of database agents currently residing in the instance. This number includes both agents that are currently working for an application and those in the agent pool.
Click the Agents Registered component to open the Database Manager Summary drilldown. This drilldown provides details about all the active databases and partitions in the DB2 instance and helps you pinpoint problem activity.
