Required monitor switch

None

Displayed statistics

At each refresh, Spotlight captures the following statistics and displays them in the DMS component, which has got two parts:

Total:

  • Total Size—The total amount of space in a DMS tablespace. This value is shown in MB.

  • Utilization—The percentage of space in a DMS tablespace that is already used. This statistic has a predefined range of alarms. For more information see, DMS Utilization alarm.

Fullest:

  • Total Size—The total amount of the fullest tablespace in a DMS tablespace. This value is shown in MB.

  • Utilization—The percentage of the fullest tablespace in a DMS tablespace that is already used.

Note: In an auto-resizing DMS tablespace values in the fullest tablespace do not raise alarm except for its total size.

Graph

The fill graph depicts the percentage of DMS tablespace that currently contains table data in the database.

Associated drilldown

Click the DMS component to open the Tablespaces drilldown. This drilldown provides details about the tablespaces in which the database you are currently monitoring resides. You can select a specific tablespace to view its storage and activity statistics.
