Inviting Users and Setting User Security Privileges

From within the License Portal, you can invite users into a group or subgroup and set security privileges for those users.

First Name

Enter the first name for the user.

Last Name

Enter the last name for the user.

User ID

Enter a unique email address for the user.

User Rights

Select the appropriate privilege level to assign to the user to control access to License Portal content. You can choose from the following:

Admin. Provides full access to portal content including the ability to create, edit, and delete users, groups, cores, and agents.
Read Only. Provides view-only access to portal content.

Editing User Security Privileges

Complete the steps in the following procedure to edit user security privileges.

Admin. Provides full access to License Portal content, including the ability to create, edit, and delete users, groups, cores, and agents.
Read Only. Provides view-only access to License Portal content.

Click Save.

Deleting a User

Complete the following steps to remove a user from the current group.

Click OK to confirm.

Approving a User

As an administrator, you can easily approve a pending user for an existing group in the License Portal when users register themselves via a subdomain.

Click OK to approve the user.
