New features

Improved NetVault Backup WebUI: NetVault Backup WebUI is now improved for better usability.


Table 1. Enhancements

Added a log message on the View Logs page “This copy is encrypted same as primary backup” when you run a backup job selecting the option for Secondary Copy (Data copy or duplicate) with encrypted saveset.


Enhanced NetVault Backup core to support Debian 7.x Wheezy 32/64-bit versions.


Added NetVault Backup product icon in the address bar of a browser accessing the site.


Enhanced NetVault Backup nvconfigurator to reject (with error message) the invalid input in the fields of Firewall dialog box on the NetVault Server Settings page.


Enhanced NetVault Backup WebUI to match the WebUI locale with the browser locale for time and date strings.


Added native support for systemd (service manager for Linux operating systems) init process.


Enhanced the utility nvlibrarymodify to use the local machine as the default for the target server if the optional options "-servername", "librarymachine" and "drivemachine" are omitted.


NetVault Backup WebUI is enhanced to show or hide the columns in the tables.


Enhanced NetVault Backup to add or remove a drive in a library using the Modify Library option.


Increased the table width in the table ‘Choose drive for bay’ to add drives to bay on Add Tape Library Drives to Bays page.


Enhanced the utility nvmeddbcheck.exe to verify and (optionally) remove obsolete session records, that are not attached to any remaining backup records.
