PowerShell Queuing Examples

The following scenarios demonstrate the differences between Queue Map commands in versions of Replicator earlier than 7.4.1706 and in version 7.4.1706 to 7.4.1905 (where Repadmin was deprecated, and PowerShell commands were enhanced).

Scenario: Queue Web Application and all children in the hierarchy

Content Synchronization Job Schedule

This section lets you set the schedule you with to use for this synchronization job. You may choose to run the job immediately, at a set date, at a set time interval, daily, weekly, monthly.

If you make a scheduling selection other than Immediately, you are then given the option to choose whether to enable this scheduled Queue Map Job.

Monitor Replicator

Monitor Replicator is accessed by selecting Monitor Replicator from the Application Management page in Central Administration. Use the Monitor Replicator hub to view Replicator health statuses, active servers, packages currently being transferred, the current status of replicator packages, historical statistics of Replicator in your environment, and for the management of conflicts.

KPI

The KPI tab of the Monitor Replicator page displays a summary of the health of Replicator.
