Experience Data How to Import Projects into Metalogix Essentials for Office 365

Project

The project section of the home tab ribbon, allows users to import, export, and load projects from files. This functionality will ensure that your projects are backed up to a location of your choosing.

Import Project

Metalogix Essentials provides users with the opportunity to import projects they have previously exported, or saved, in order to continue working on them.

1.When a user selects the Import button in the home tab ribbon's project section, the Import wizard screen pops up, prompting the user to select the type of project import they would like to perform.

2.Click Next once you have selected an import type. Please note, the wizard will look different based on the import format you select

3.Navigate to the location of the project and click Finish in order to complete the import.

Export Project

Metalogix Essentials provides users with the opportunity to export projects, allowing them to have a backup of a project, saved at a specific point in time.

1.When a user selects the Export button in the home tab ribbon's project section, the Export wizard screen pops up, prompting the user to select the type of export they would like to perform.

2.Click Next once you have selected an import type.

3.Navigate to the location you would like to save the exported project to, click Finish in order to complete the export.

Load from File

Load from File allows you to load a diagram from a file saves in your environments file explorer. Navigate to the file and select finish in order to complete the load.
