Profile Manager

The Profile Manager is accessed from the Help Ribbon.

When selected a window is generated that contains a list of operations for which profiles are supported.

Selecting an operation displays a profile name along with a list of available options. By default the selections in the profile correspond to "out-of-the-box" functionality.

info

NOTE: The shown options are unique to each operation and are not inherited to higher level operations (e.g. changes to item level profiles are not inherited by list or site level profiles).

There are a variety of capabilities available to the user:

·Creating New Profiles - Users can create new profiles for each operation by selecting the Create New Profile button.

Global Variables

The Global Variables section contains a set of options that are used to optimize or configure the application for your user environment.  Many of these settings control basic functionality.  Some are intended for diagnostic purposes and should only be changed based on advice from the support team.  If you are unsure of what a parameter does, please do not change it.

In order to access the Global Variables section, do the following:

1.From the Help tab, select Profile Manager.

2.Within the Profile Manager window, select Global Variables from the left hand menu.

Selecting Profiles

A profile selection field is available for most core operations and wizards. To select an alternate profile, use the provided drop down field.
