Upgrading a ControlPoint Native Installation

To upgrade a ControlPoint Native installation:

1.On the Web front-end server where ControlPoint was originally installed, navigate to the folder Native_Kit\Installation scripts.

2.Open a command window using Run as administrator.


3.Make sure the directory is set to the location of the Installation scripts folder.

4.Type the following string at the command prompt:  ManualDeployment upgrade.

5.Click <Enter>.

The progress of the installation is recorded in the command window.  When it has completed, the Manage ControlPoint Licenses dialog displays.

Manage ControlPoint Licenses NEW INSTALL OPTION

Continue with Updating Your ControlPoint License After a Software Upgrade or Maintenance Release.

NOTE:  If you want to update the application at a later time, click [Close].  When you are ready to update your ControlPoint license, you can invoke this dialog as described in the topic Activating your ControlPoint License.
