Unlinking and Deleting Groups

You can unlink groups, with the option of either retaining or deleting groups from their respective SharePoint sites.

To unlink individual members from a linked group:

1From the Linked Group Members tab, highlight each row containing the member group you want to unlink.

2Click [Unlink selected Member group(s)].

3Note that, on the Confirmation dialog, the Linkage option is automatically checked.

If you want to also want to completely remove the member group(s) from SharePoint, check the Selected Member Group(s) box before clicking [OK].

CAUTION:  If you choose to remove groups from SharePoint, the action cannot be undone.

To dissolve an established Linked Group:

4From the Established Linked Group tab, highlight the row containing the Linked Group you want to dissolve.

5Click [Unlink All Groups from Selected Master].

6Note that, on the Confirmation dialog, the Linkage option is automatically checked.

If you want to also want to completely remove the master and/or member group(s) from SharePoint, check the appropriate box(es) before clicking [OK].

CAUTION:  If you choose to remove groups from SharePoint, the action cannot be undone.
