The Desktop Authority ONRM Maintenance Service does not start in some server environments and an IdentityNotMappedException error is logged. This is usually returned when a SecurityIdentifier cannot be mapped. For example, when a SID cannot be translated to an NT user, AD users were deleted, or there is no access to the domain controller who performs the translation. NOTE: The service is only needed if the ONRM (Off-Network Remote Management) feature is in-use. |
