Deploy the Cartridge for FxM agent package

Navigate to the Agent Status dashboard (Dashboards > Administration > Agents > Agent Status), and click Deploy Agent Package.

Select the FxM-Fglam-Agent.gar package that you want to deploy on the monitored host.

Click Deploy.

Create, configure, and activate the FxM agent

Navigate to Foglight > Dashboards > End User > FxM > FxM System Health and write down the existing FxM system name (from the earlier version).

From the Agent Status page, click Create Agent to create the FxM Agent.

Click Create.

From the Agent Status page, select the agent and click Edit Properties to configure the Agent Properties.

Click Modify properties for this agent only.

Click Activate to activate the FxM agent that you just created.

Click Start Data Collection.

Upgrade Foglight for FTR

On each FTR host machine, using the browser interface, go to Dashboards > Administration > Cartridges > Components for Download and install the new version of Foglight Transaction Recorder and Transaction Player.

Using the browser interface, go to Dashboards > Administration > Agents > Agent Status and click Deploy Agent Package to deploy the new agent package to each FTR host machine.
