This metric displays the percentage of the inodes that is currently in use on the datastore partition. An inode is a data structure in UNIX®-based file systems that stores basic information about files, directories and other system objects. The datastore partition has a pre-defined limit on the number of inodes that can be maintained at any one time. If this limit is exceeded the system stops collecting new metrics. If this metric ever exceeds 90 percent, contact Quest Technical Support for assistance.
This metric displays the percentage of the data store partition that is currently in use. If usage exceeds 90 percent that could indicate a problem that should be communicated to Quest Technical Support.
