Installation Requirements

The Essentials desktop tool is a multi-threaded/multi-tasking application. As such, available system memory is the most critical parameter for optimal performance. The following are the system requirements for optimal performance:

·Product Version: 64-bit - 8GB+ of RAM. To increase memory, start Metalogix Essentials for Office 365 and go to Help > Profile Manager > Advanced > Memory Settings.

·Processor: Intel Core i3 or AMD FX 6300 or higher processor.

·Operating System: Windows 8 or higher; Windows Server 2008 R2 or higher.

·Workstation/Server: Many customers install the application on Virtual platforms, however we recommend using an isolated workstation rather than shared servers.

·Connectivity: We recommend a hard-wired network connection over wireless.

·Software: We recommend you turn off all antivirus software on the workstation where Essentials is installed. Otherwise, it may affect the tool.
