Navigating with the Mouse

Click on a menu. A list of items available in that menu will display. Click on an item to execute a specific action.

Navigating with the Keyboard

You can access menus using the up, down, left, and right arrow keys.

When you first open Quest® Stat®, no shortcut keys are displayed on the menus. To display the shortcut keys, press <ALT>. The shortcuts are displayed (underlined letters). Press the indicated shortcut key to execute the desired menu option. For example, after pressing <ALT>, pressing <F> opens the File menu and then pressing <W> opens the New Project window.

You can also invoke certain menu options using shortcut keys in combination with the <Ctrl> modifier key. These options include:

If a menu is open, you can move between menu options using the up and down arrow keys, and you can move to different menus using the left and right arrow keys. After selecting the menu option you want, press the <Enter> key to execute the command, or you can use the shortcut keys if indicated.

The Stat toolbar provides one-click access to the most commonly used features in Quest® Stat®. For example, the toolbar button representing a blank page creates a new CSR.

You can move the toolbar by clicking File | Toolbars and selecting the position you want in the Toolbars window.
