Backup Reporter for Oracle 1.6.1 - Quest Backup Report 1.6.1 Installation Guide

New in this release

The following is a list of changes for this Backup Reporter for Oracle release.

  • CL+ for Databases - CL+ for Databases is an enhanced version of PuTTY that facilitates using the RMAN and SQL*Plus command line tools. CL+ for Databases now ships with Backup Reporter and performs syntax highlighting for RAMN and SQL*Plus.

  • Startup - Startup time has been significantly improved.

  • Lobby - A new Welcome screen has been added to help new users become more familiar with the Backup Reporter.

  • Registration Wizard - The database registration wizard has been streamlined and simplified.

  • Demo Mode - A new demonstration mode has been added. This will allow you to what Backup Reporter can do for you before you decide to deploy it.

  • Growth Chart - The timeline controls have been improved.
