About This Guide

The Authentication Services Administrator's Guide is intended for Windows, Unix, Linux and Mac system administrators, network administrators, consultants, analysts, and any other IT professionals who will be deploying Authentication Services. By following the instructions presented in this guide, a system administrator will be able to configure new or existing Unix, Linux, or Mac OS X systems so they can authenticate user logins against user and group accounts stored in Windows Active Directory.
