Our security team has asked if we could disable http access to the Stat webserver, and instead enable SSL/https acccess. Does Stat support this configuration?
The procedure below is for the latest version of STAT. 5.5. The https version of the stat-agent.ear file, which is included with the Stat media.
1. Remove the existing 5.5 stat-agent.ear file from <STAT_HOME>app/server/default/deploy/stat-agent.ear>
2. Locate the stat-agent.ear file in stat-agent-https.zip from the distribution package (Stat 5.5.2\stat_server\standalone\stat-agent-https.zip) and copy it into <STAT_HOME>app/server/default/deploy>
directory
3. Shut down agent.
4. Delete <STAT_HOME>/app/server/default/tmp and <STAT_HOME>/app/server/default/work
5. Locate the stat-agent.ear file in stat-agent-https.zip from this distribution package and copy it into <STAT_HOME>app/server/default/deploy
6. Restart your agent.
7. Access the web client as before.
