Unable to install Stat Central Agent as a windows service -
Description
After installing Stat Central Agent like a service the DOS window shows the message
"Service JBoss installed application server 5.1 installed." but it's unable to view this in the service window of the windows server (services.msc)

Cause
Wrong JDK version and the run.conf.bat had a bad configuration. -
Resolution
I've modified the bad run.conf.bat file compared with one defaulted given by the Stat installation.
1. Stop and uninstall the service you currently have.
2. Rename the good file run.conf.batgood to run.conf.bat and replace it to the directory
D:\apps\stat571_server\app\bin
3. Verify and make sure you have set the JAVA_HOME and STAT_HOME in the service.bat file. In case those are not set then add the following lines:
set JAVA_HOME=C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.7.0_71
set STAT_HOME=D:\apps\stat571_server
Change the description as below:
set SVCNAME=STAT_SERVICE
set SVCDISP=JBoss As Service for Stat
set SVCDESC=JBoss Application Server 5.1.0 GA/Platform: Windows x86
4. From DOS window verify again you have set JAVA_HOME and STAT_HOME set by the command set then run the following:
C:\Users\graiano>service install
Service JBoss As Service for Stat installed
5. Open the Windows Service and you can find the Service name, Description and Status as below:
JBoss As Service for Stat JBoss Application Server 5.1.0 GA/Platform: Windows x86 Manual
6. Finally you can Run it from the Windows Service
