There is a trouble when trying to run Patch Impact Analysis and Stat fails with adop error and the log shows "phase = apply". So, Why Stat is trying to apply a patch when we are running impact analysis? -
Cause
That is how it is designed. -
Resolution
To run patch impact, Stat initially call adop with apply phase. Adop will later ask for any command-line arguments for adpatch. At that point we pass in 'apply=no'.To run the patch impact, you still need to be in a Patch Cycle or Adop will complain, and that is what is happening here.Hopefully this will clear out when you put the environment in Prepare phase and run the patch impact again.
