If you can logon to staging and target outside of Stat but get the error 'Sign on to target DB failed' upon a migration, then check to see if the connect id/password are different between staging vs. target. Otherwise the user would get error sign on to target database failed.
Currently Stat only support the same connect id/password for the staging and target db.
Developement logged the ER STAT-4814 Add ability to migrate PS Objects when PS target has different Connect ID username/password
It will be included in the next Stat 6.3.0 release.
Workaround:
Make sure that the connect id/password are the same in the PS Configuration Manager for the stage and target DBs (refer the image attached).
