Is it possible to view/compare archive set of peoplecode by different PT versions? -
Description
I had a request if someone could access the peoplecode in a previous version of peopletools. I'm guessing it's not possible but just wondering if stat has any way to export an old archive and some sort of dump that would allow them to see the peoplecode between different PT version?
Using compare Wizard, 2 archives set for a compare (1 from a previous version of ptools) and one from the current ptools ?It displays the 'Selected sources have a different Peoplesoft versions (8.Q versus 8.R) error.So, I would like to know if that is possible. -
Resolution
By the Test, Archive Set #1 and #10 have took from two different PT versions is not possible to compare.If you want to just view PeopleCode, then run Compare Wizard and select the same sources.
