Stat Central Agent does not start on Windows Server 2012 R2.
Description

It's a new installation of Central Agent 5.7.3 on a new server on Windows Server 2012 R2. After followed the install instruction, defined STAT_HOME and JAVA_HOME and installed Java 1.7.xxx, executing the command run.bat to start it, it calls run.conf.bat as usual but nothing happens.
Cause

The issue was been resolved by checking several things.
Resolution

If a similar scenario and symptom is encountered you can check the additional steps below:
- Reinstall the agent into a shorter directory name.
- Reinstalled Java into a name that does not include spaces and parentheses.
- Hard code STAT_HOME and JAVA_HOME in run.conf.bat.
- Add Java to the PATH Environment Variable.
