Received the following error when trying to fetch any aol object:
Unxpected error in postMessageTo Topic: Failed to find ConnectionFactory: null
Furthermore, we are unable to test connect for SMTP or run any of the stat report. It's appear that the client cannot communicate to the stat central agent. It kept on saying the stat agent might be down when in fact is up and running.
This message could occur when test connecting to an environment or Email from the Stat Windows client. It could also occur when attempting to run a report from the Stat Windows client. Another symptom is that the user must use the IP address to connect to the Stat web client. The host name won’t work. This implies an inability of the Windows device to translate the IP address to a host name and vice versa. Messaging between the Stat client and Stat Central agent requires the Host Name.
When the Stat Central Agent is started it logs a row to STAT_AGENT and inputs the IP/Host name in this format Hostname.domain%% IP address. Go to the etc/hosts file (C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) and add this hostname-IP combination if it not already there. Log out of the Stat client and then log back in.
The following is what I was trying to reconcile - it's in the "agent_name" column in the STAT_AGENT table. This is what the Stat client checks to determine how to get to the Central Agent (hosted in this scenario).
