Received system error: Invalid userid and password for signon doing psoft test connection for 6.1.0, but not 6.0
Description

We are getting System Error: Invalid User ID and password for signon in PS Options in STAT 6.1. We made sure the Peoplesoft Connection of the environment we are logging into is fine . We tried the same test case in 6.0 version of STAT which is our current Production and we didn't get any issue .
Cause

In 6.1 we added ability to use alternative ODBC name (STAT-2556). Prior to 6.1 that field was not used.
Resolution

1. Go to Maintenance | General | Peoplesoft connect | locate the psoft environment.
2. Scroll to the ODBC DSN field and make sure this field is using database name for Peoplesoft on DB2 and SQL Server
