We are currently having issues doing this test connect for ANY user (new or existing) and we think it's a access issue to the directroy where the tools executable is contained as we recently upgrdaded to STAT 5.5.5 and went to new WIN2008 servers. We are currently working through this issue but I have a questions about this process that the developers follow.
Our developers are currently able to successfully add objects to a CSR and create archive sets so this test connect (or lack there of) does not seem to have an effect. My question is whether or not it necessary to successfully test connect from User Options | Peoplesoft Options if the developer does not perform migration or access App Designer in Stat?
