RESOLUTION:
If a user does not see the advanced button, their license type must have been set to "Functional". To check or change the license type for a Stat user go to Maintenance > Security Settings > User Maintenance > Highlight the desired user id and scroll all the way to the right and you will see the settings under "License Type" column.
Technical users have access to all Stat functionality and are only limited by their
assigned user class rights.
Functional users are limited and do not have access to the following areas in Stat:
- Maintenance
- Migration Management (except Migration Approvals)
- Object Management
- User Options | PeopleSoft Options
- User Options | Pre/Post Migration user parameters
- The Object Management window
Both types of users have full access to web client.
