Can HR and FIN share the same staging db on the same peopletools version? -
Description
We have different systems Financials and HR on the same Tools version 8.53.XX but on different Path Level. Can we use the same staging database? -
Resolution
How many migrations occur daily and would they occur at the same time? Each developer/migrator could only migrate from HR or from FIN but not both at the same time. The database as created would probably be from HR or from FIN and either way would be missing objects found in the other db, so the developer/migrator would have to remember to include all objects in the archive set.
For example, some fields may be in FIN but not in HR so if the developer/migrator are migrating records from HR they would need to include the fields that go into those records as well as the records, or the records might not migrate.
