Description

Error "Exception of type 'System.OutofMemoryException' was thrown" when generating report. Here are the steps to reproduce the problem.
1) Select SQL Rewrite option
2) Tune the queries in SQL Details tab after generating the alternatives
3) Select Tab 'Compare' to compare the optimized and original query
4) Select 'Report' to generate report
5) Encountered error "Exception of type 'System.OutofMemoryException' was thrown"
Cause

Product defect.
Resolution

WORKAROUND
In the Report Page, there is a toolbar can choose the "Report Layout" button (last button in toolbar), user can choose to uncheck the "Scenario List" to not show the Scenario details.

STATUS

Waiting for a fix in a future release of Quest SQL Optimizer for Oracle.

The issue is due to the Report generated with very large Execution Plan. This will be fixed in the future releases.
