I recently purchased two licenses for SQL Optimizer 8.5. I installed TOAD Xpert 11.0 edition, received a new License Key and updated the license information in TOAD. When I try to start the SQL Optimizer, I get a Windows error box with the message: "Quest.Tuning.Oracle.Main has encountered a problem and needs to close".
When I click 'What data does this error report contain' it just shows the Application Name (Quest SQL Optimizer for Oracle) and some version and mod numbers.
Upgrade to Toad for Oracle current version

Upgrade Quest SQL Optimizer for Oracle to version 8.6 or higher.
