Tried to install SQL Optimizer for DB2 and received error: ' Nothing to install. All products have been already installed'
If the product was not installed properly before, the installer may mistakenly think that the product is currently on the machine, and hence showed this error.
WORKAROUND:
1. Launch Quest Installer by clicking Start | All Programs | Quest Software | Quest Installer | Quest Installer
2. In the Quest Installer, check the Quest SQL Optimizer for DB2 UDB to remove (leaving other products unchecked)
3. Click Next and follow the instructions to the end to remove the Quest SQL Optimizer for DB2 UDB
4. After that, you may try install Quest SQL Optimizer for DB2 UDB again.
