When I tried to change my schema under the "Current Schema" drop down, I get the error:
"Data type is not supported."
A possible cause is if OCI 7 is used when connecting.
1. In the Oracle Logon window of SL Nav, expand the Options button at the bottom left
2. Uncheck "Force OCI 7 for this connection"
OCI 7 means that you are forcing SQL Nav to use Oracle Call Interface version 7.x. That interface, because it is really old, may not support some current objects in Oracle that SQL Nav might use for some features like the Current Schema drop down.
